MoneyGram international fund transfers at SCB ATMs for the first time !

Digital banking leader Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has continuously leveraged its digital technology capabilities and financial innovations through partnerships with leading global business partners to deliver new financial solutions and services answering every customer need while providing the best customer experience. As a result of SCB’s recent partnership with MoneyGram International, SCB is now the first bank in Thailand allowing customers to cash out MoneyGram international fund transfers at SCB ATMs without visiting a bank counter. With just their ID card, customers can conveniently cash out funds transferred via MoneyGram, up to 30,000 baht/transaction 24/7 with no fee. In an early phase, the service is available at some 2,000 SCB ATMs with MoneyGram logo stickers nationwide, and other financial services will follow. SCB hopes this new service will cater to growing customer demand for international financial transactions in this digital era, reflecting our customer-centric business aspiration.   

Instructions for cashing out MoneyGram international fund transfers at SCB ATMs:

    Select “Receive international fund transfer.”

    Select “OK” to continue.

    Insert your ID card at the ID card reader to begin the transaction.

    Take back your ID card and continue the transaction. 

    Enter the 8-digit reference number/code for receiving the fund.

    Select the sender’s country and wait for data verification.

    Check the transaction and select “Confirm.”

    Select a relationship with the sender.

    Select a transaction purpose.

    Select the recipient’s occupation.

    Enter the recipient’s mobile phone number.

    Check the transaction and select “Confirm.”

    Receive cash and transaction slip.
