ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ กระหึ่มเวทีโลก คว้า 2 รางวัลธนาคารยอดเยี่ยมของไทย ได้แก่ รางวัลธนาคารยอดเยี่ยม (Best Bank in Thailand) ปีที่ 13 จากนิตยสาร Euromoney (ประเทศอังกฤษ) และรางวัลธนาคารยอดเยี่ยม (Best Domestic Bank) ปีที่ 13 จากนิตยสาร The Asset (เขตเศรษฐกิจพิเศษฮ่องกง) สะท้อนความสามารถในการบริหารองค์กรอย่างแข็งแกร่งท่ามกลางความท้าทายจากสถานการณ์โควิด-19 และการปรับตัวไปสู่ธุรกิจดิจิทัล
นายมาณพ เสงี่ยมบุตร รองผู้จัดการใหญ่อาวุโส ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร กลุ่มงานการเงิน ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ กล่าวว่า การได้รับ 2 รางวัลนี้อย่างต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 13 ของธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์สะท้อนถึงความสามารถและวินัยในการบริหารธุรกิจด้านการเงิน อันส่งผลให้ธนาคารมีผลการดำเนินงานที่เติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่อง และมีสถานะการเงินที่แข็งแกร่ง ตลอดจนกลยุทธ์ในการบริหารจัดการสภาวะวิกฤติที่กำลังเผชิญอยู่ แม้สถานการณ์โดยรอบยังมีความยากลำบาก ธนาคารยังคงมุ่งเน้นให้ความช่วยเหลือทางการเงินต่อลูกค้า อีกทั้งยังมุ่งมั่นพัฒนาการสร้างประสบการณ์ใหม่ในการให้บริการผ่านดิจิทัลเพื่อให้ลูกค้าเข้าถึงความต้องการทางการเงินได้อย่างสะดวกมากยิ่งขึ้น รางวัลดังกล่าวได้นำความภาคภูมิใจมาสู่พนักงานของธนาคาร และเชื่อว่าจะเป็นการสร้างความเชื่อมั่นให้กับลูกค้าทุกภาคส่วนและนักลงทุนอีกด้วย
ทั้งนี้ นิตยสาร Euromoney และนิตยสาร The Asset เป็นสื่อที่มีความน่าเชื่อและมีอิทธิพลต่อผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการเงินการธนาคารทั่วโลก สำหรับรางวัล The Euromoney Awards for Excellence จากนิตยสาร Euromoney ถือเป็นรางวัลในด้านการธนาคารและตลาดการเงิน รวมทั้งรางวัลธนาคารยอดเยี่ยมที่มีให้เกือบ 100 ประเทศ โดยการมอบรางวัลดังกล่าวมีมาตั้งแต่ปี 1992 ขณะที่นิตยสาร The Asset เป็นสื่อที่น่าเชื่อถือในตลาดการเงินและการลงทุนของเอเชีย โดยมีคณะกรรมการที่เป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการเงินการธนาคารเป็นผู้ตัดสิน

SCB wins two Best Bank in Thailand awards
Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has garnered global gongs yet again, winning an award for Best Bank in Thailand from UK’s Euromoney magazine and a Best Domestic Bank award from Hong Kong’s The Asset magazine. Winning both awards thirteen years in a row reflects the Bank’s resilience in maintaining its strength amid the challenges and unprecedented circumstances arising from the COVID-19 pandemic and the Bank’s transformation to digital services.
