ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ ผนึก การไฟฟ้าฝ่ายผลิตแห่งประเทศไทย (กฟผ.) เดินหน้ายกระดับกระบวนการออกหนั งสือค้ำประกัน (Letter of Guarantee : LG) จัดพิธีลงนามความร่วมมือในการพั ฒนาระบบ Digital LG โดยการนำเทคโนโลยีพลิกโฉมขั้นตอ นการออก LG ในรูปแบบเดิมที่มีความยุ่งยากทา งด้านเอกสารและขาดความคล่องตัว มาสู่รูปแบบดิจิทัลที่ปราศจาคเอ กสารในทุกขั้นตอน สะดวก รวดเร็ว ประหยัดต้นทุนในการดำเนินการ เพราะสามารถขออนุมัติหนังสือค้ำ ประกันจากธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ได้ด้ วยตัวเองแบบเรียลไทม์ตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง อีกทั้งระบบจะส่งผลอนุมัติไปยัง กฟผ. โดยตรง ซึ่งเป็นการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในก ารแข่งขันและเท่าทันโลกธุรกิจใน ยุคดิจิทัล ทั้งนี้ความร่วมมือดังกล่าวเป็น การพัฒนาเตรียมความพร้อมเพื่อต่ อยอดสู่การนำเทคโนยี Blockchain มาใช้ในการออก LG ให้กับ กฟผ.ก่อนเข้าร่วมทดสอบใน Regulatory Sandbox ของธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทยในเฟสถัด ไป โดยมี นายวศิน ไสยวรรณ รองผู้จัดการใหญ่อาวุโส ผู้บริหารสูงสุด Corporate Banking นางภิมลภา สันติโชค รองผู้จัดการใหญ่อาวุโส ผู้บริหารสูงสุด Commercial Banking Solution ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ นายวันชัย หงส์เชิดชัย รองผู้ว่าการบัญชีและการเงิน และนายภัทรกฤช เตชะศิก านต์ ผู้ช่วยผู้ว่าการการเงิน การไฟฟ้าฝ่ายผลิตแห่งประ เทศไทย ร่วมลงนาม เมื่อเร็วๆ นี้

SCB and EGAT ink digital LG development cooperation agreement, upgrading technology to cater to business partners in the 4.0 generation
Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) by Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Banking Wasin Saiyawan and Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Commercial Banking Solutions Pimolpa Suntichok (right) and the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) Deputy Governor, Account and Finance Wanchai Hongcherdchai and Assistant Governor, Finance Pattarakit Techasikarn (left) recently inked a cooperative deal for digital LG development. The letter of guarantee (LG) issuance process, once a painful process involving loads of documents and a lack of flexibility, will go paperless with digitization at every step. The process will be quicker, more convenient, and see lower operating costs, as applicants can apply for letters of guarantee by themselves on a 24/7 real-time basis. LG approval results will then be sent directly to EGAT. This digital LG development will help boost EGAT's competitiveness and keep pace with the business world in the digital era. The deal also lays the groundwork for introducing blockchain technology to LG issuance for EGAT and for further testing in the Bank of Thailand’s regulatory sandbox in the next phase.
