นายวิรไท สันติประภพ ผู้ว่าการธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย และนายปรีดี ดาวฉาย กรรมการผู้จัดการ ธนาคารกสิกรไทย ร่วมเปิดบูธธนาคารกสิกรไทย ซึ่งนำเสนอนวัตกรรมบริการทางการเงินและไลฟ์สไตล์แห่งอนาคต อาทิ สาธิตบริการที่เชื่อมต่อกับ National Digital ID (NDID) ระบบการพิสูจน์และยืนยันตัวตนทางดิจิทัล ซึ่งจะอำนวยความสะดวกให้ลูกค้าทำธุรกรรมได้โดยไม่ต้องมาที่สาขา, สาธิตนวัตกรรมการชำระเงินด้วย Biometrics Technology ช่วยให้สามารถโอนเงินไปยังผู้รับปลายทางได้โดยใช้เพียงใบหน้าของผู้รับเงิน และบริการตู้จำหน่ายสินค้าที่ผู้ซื้อสามารถชำระเงินด้วยใบหน้า, สาธิต “ขุนทอง” แชทบอทเหรัญญิก คู่ใจเรื่องการคำนวณค่าใช้จ่ายและเรียกเก็บเงิน, นำเสนอ MyPromptQR บริการใหม่ที่ร้านค้าสแกน QR Code ของผู้ซื้อเพื่อการรับชำระเงิน บนพื้นฐานของโครงสร้างระบบชำระเงินพร้อมเพย์ มาตรฐาน ISO20022 และแนะนำบริการโอนเงินไปต่างประเทศและรับโอนเงินจากต่างประเทศที่ธนาคารพัฒนา ภายในงาน Bangkok FinTech Fair 2019 ณ อาคารศูนย์การเรียนรู้ ธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย

KBank showcases financial innovation of the future
Mr. Veerathai Santiprabhob, Governor of the Bank of Thailand, and Mr. Predee Daochai, KBank President, opened the KBank booth in the Bangkok FinTech Fair 2019, which showcases financial service and lifestyle of the future. KBank booth features the demonstration of the services linked with National Digital ID (NDID) proofing and verification system, which enables customers to expedite transactions without having to visit the bank’s physical branch, the demonstration of the payment innovation via Biometrics Technology, which allows senders to transfer funds to recipients by using facial recognition technology for verification, and the vending machine service, which enables buyers to make bill payment via facial recognition, as well as “KhunThong”, the buddy chatbot, which provides guidance to customers about expense calculation and bill collection. Moreover, KBank exhibition booth introduces MyPromptQR, a new service enabling merchants to scan QR code of buyers for accepting bill payment on PromptPay platform based on ISO20022 standard and presents the overseas funds transfer and receipt service developed by KBank. The event was held at the Bank of Thailand Learning Center.
