นายชาติศิริ โสภณพนิช กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ ธนาคารกรุงเทพ จำกัด (มหาชน) นำทีมผู้บริหารและพนักงานร่วมฉลองความสำเร็จและรับมอบรางวัล Money & Banking Awards 2019 ในสาขา ‘ธนาคารแห่งปี 2562 หรือ Bank of the Year 2019’ นับเป็นครั้งที่ 11 ในรอบ 13 ปีหลัง หรือตั้งแต่ปีพ.ศ.2550 ที่ธนาคารกรุงเทพสามารถคว้าตำแหน่งดังกล่าว พร้อมรางวัลยอดเยี่ยม บูธสวยงามประเภทพื้นที่ขนาดใหญ่ ในงาน Money Expo 2019 หรือมหกรรมการเงินครั้งที่ 19 จาก ดร.สมคิด จาตุศรีพิทักษ์ รองนายกรัฐมนตรี และนายสันติ วิริยะรังสฤษฎ์ ประธานจัดงาน โดยการประกาศยกย่องจากวารสารการเงินธนาคารสำหรับความโดดเด่นในครั้งนี้ โดยธนาคารกรุงเทพสร้างกำไรสุทธิได้สูงเป็นอันดับ 3 ของระบบธนาคารพาณิชย์ โดยมีกำไรสุทธิทั้งสิ้น 35,329.97 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้น 2,321.26 ล้านบาท หรือ 7.03% จากปี 2560 และมีกำไรสุทธิต่อหุ้นสูงเป็นอันดับ 1 ที่ 18.51 บาท นอกจากนี้ ยังเน้นการมีเสถียรภาพและความมั่นคงโดยตั้งสำรองค่าเผื่อหนี้สงสัยจะสูญ 147,588.43 ล้านบาท คิดเป็น 7.08% ของสินเชื่อรวม สูงสุดเป็นอันดับ 1 ของระบบธนาคารพาณิชย์ รวมทั้งมีเงินกองทุนต่อสินทรัพย์เสี่ยง (BIS) 17.96% แบ่งเป็นเงินกองทุนขั้นที่ 1 ที่ระดับ 16.43% และเงินกองทุนขั้นที่ 2 ที่ระดับ 1.53% สำหรับในปี 2562 ธนาคารยังคงยึดมั่นในเจตนารมณ์ของการเป็น “เพื่อนคู่คิด มิตรคู่บ้าน” โดยให้ความสำคัญกับการเป็นเพื่อนคู่คิดในการดำเนินธุรกิจของลูกค้า และพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์อย่างจริงใจและยาวนานจากรุ่นสู่รุ่น โดยในกลุ่มลูกค้าธุรกิจ ธนาคารได้สนับสนุนและให้คำปรึกษาเพื่อช่วยให้ธุรกิจของลูกค้าเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน ส่งเสริมธุรกิจที่มีศักยภาพและโอกาสใหม่ทางธุรกิจ และพัฒนาแพลตฟอร์มด้านบริการบริหารจัดการเงินสดและสินเชื่อการค้าระหว่างประเทศ

Bangkok Bank receives Money & Banking Award 2019
win in Bank of the Year and Best Booth Design Awards in Money Expo
Bangkok Bank President Chartsiri Sophonpanich led a team of management and employees to receive Money & Banking Awards 2019 in “Bank of the Year 2019”, this is the 11 th win in 13 years, beginning in 2007, additionally Bangkok Bank received the Best Booth Design Award in Money Expo 2019 in the large space category which was presented by Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak and Mr.Santi Wiriyarangsarit, Chair of the event. The Bank’s net profit in 2018 was the third-highest among Thai banks at Baht 35.3 billion, representing the highest net profit of Baht 18.51 per share. In addition to its high profitability, Bangkok Bank was recognized for its prudent and steady approach in allocating reserves for doubtful accounts. Its total loan loss reserves in 2018 amounted to Baht 147.5 billion, or 7.08% of total loans, which was also the highest amount among Thai banks. According to the Bank for International Standards, Bangkok Bank has a total capital adequacy ratio of 17.96%, comprising Tier-1 capital of 16.43% and Tier-2 capital of 1.53%.
