ธนาคารกสิกรไทย สปป.ลาว หนุนการลงทุนในลาวต่อเนื่อง ปล่อยกู้กลุ่ม BCH สร้างโรงพยาบาลเกษมราษฎร์ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล เวียงจันทน์ ขนาด 254 เตียง ยกระดับบริการทางการแพทย์ที่มีคุณภาพให้แก่ประชาชนชาวลาวและชาวต่างชาติในลาว เตรียมเปิดบริการปี 2564
นายพัฒนพงศ์ ตัณฑ์สมบุญ ประธานสภาบริหาร ธนาคารกสิกรไทย สปป.ลาว เปิดเผยว่า ธนาคารกสิกรไทยมุ่งหวังพัฒนาและสนับสนุนการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจของประเทศในอาเซียน โดยเฉพาะ สปป.ลาว ซึ่งธนาคารเล็งเห็นศักยภาพในการขยายตัวทางเศรษฐกิจอย่างรวดเร็วและต่อเนื่องในหลาย ๆ ภาคอุตสาหกรรม ส่งผลให้ประชากรมีกำลังซื้อเพิ่มขึ้นและเริ่มมองหาสินค้าและบริการที่มีคุณภาพ โดยเฉพาะธุรกิจเกี่ยวกับสุขภาพและบริการทางการแพทย์ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในธุรกิจส่งเสริมตามนโยบายของรัฐบาล สปป. ลาว ที่ต้องการส่งเสริมการเข้าถึงบริการทางการแพทย์ที่มีคุณภาพและมาตรฐานตามการเติบโตของประเทศ
ธนาคารกสิกรไทย จำกัด สปป.ลาว เล็งเห็นว่าธุรกิจด้านสุขภาพโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งโรงพยาบาล เป็นปัจจัยขั้นพื้นฐานสำคัญที่ สปป.ลาว ยังมีความต้องการเพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของประชากรโดยรวม ดังนั้นธนาคารจึงสนับสนุนทางการเงินให้แก่บริษัท บางกอก เชน อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล (ลาว) จำกัด ในเครือ BCH ซึ่งเป็นพันธมิตรทางธุรกิจกับธนาคารมาอย่างยาวนานในการดำเนินโครงการก่อสร้างโรงพยาบาลเกษมราษฎร์ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล เวียงจันทน์ เพื่อให้บริการทางการแพทย์ด้วยมาตรฐานทัดเทียมระดับสากลเพื่อประโยชน์ของประชาชนชาวลาวเป็นหลัก
นายพัฒนพงศ์ กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า ธนาคารมีความยินดีที่ได้ร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการสนับสนุนให้เครือ BCH ซึ่งเป็นผู้ประกอบการโรงพยาบาลเอกชนชั้นนำในประเทศไทยภายใต้ 4 กลุ่มโรงพยาบาล ได้แก่ 1. กลุ่มโรงพยาบาลเวิลด์เมดิคอล 2. กลุ่มโรงพยาบาลเกษมราษฎร์ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล 3. กลุ่มโรงพยาบาลเกษมราษฎร์ และ 4.กลุ่มโรงพยาบาลการุญเวช ได้ขยายเครือข่ายการให้บริการทางการแพทย์ไปยังภูมิภาคอาเซียนตามเป้าหมายของบริษัท โดยธนาคารมีความเชื่อมั่นในศักยภาพ ประสบการณ์ และความเป็นมืออาชีพของผู้บริหารและทีมงาน และหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าการขยายกิจการไปยังต่างประเทศของเครือ BCH ในครั้งนี้จะประสบผลสำเร็จเป็นอย่างดี ซึ่งความร่วมมือทางธุรกิจในครั้งนี้นับว่าเป็นหนึ่งในยุทธศาสตร์ของธนาคารที่จะเข้าไปมีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจของประเทศในอาเซียนอีกด้วย
ที่ผ่านมา ธนาคารกสิกรไทย จำกัด สปป.ลาว บรรลุเป้าหมายในการขยายฐานลูกค้า SME ซึ่งธนาคารมีความเชี่ยวชาญในการให้บริการลูกค้ากลุ่มนี้เป็นอย่างดี นอกจากนั้นธนาคารยังสามารถขยายฐานลูกค้าไปยังกลุ่มธุรกิจขนาดใหญ่ทั้งภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนภายใน สปป.ลาว โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ภาคเอกชนที่เป็นนักลงทุนจากต่างประเทศ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นนักลงทุนจากประเทศญี่ปุ่น เกาหลีใต้ และที่สำคัญคือนักลงทุนชาวไทย ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่เป็นพันธมิตรทางธุรกิจกันอยู่แล้ว นอกจากนั้นธนาคารมีความพร้อมในการให้บริการจัดการทางการเงินกับกลุ่มธุรกิจขนาดใหญ่ ในรูปแบบของ Supply Chain รวมถึงความต้องการบริการพิเศษอื่น ๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น ธุรกรรมทางการเงินภายในประเทศและระหว่างประเทศ
รศ.ดร.นพ.เฉลิม หาญพาณิชย์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท บางกอก เชน ฮอสปิทอล จำกัด (มหาชน) และผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ บริษัท บางกอก เชน อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล (ลาว) จำกัด เปิดเผยว่า การลงทุนโครงการก่อสร้างโรงพยาบาลเกษมราษฎร์ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล เวียงจันทน์ในครั้งนี้ใช้เงินลงทุนรวมประมาณ 70 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐฯ โดยในเฟสแรกจะใช้งบลงทุนประมาณ 50 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐฯ การลงทุนของกลุ่มในครั้งนี้เพื่อสอดรับกับการเจริญเติบโตของเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และชุมชน โดยบริษัทมุ่งมั่นที่จะนำเสนอบริการทางการแพทย์ที่ทันสมัยด้วยคุณภาพและมาตรฐานระดับสากลภายใต้แบรนด์โรงพยาบาลเกษมราษฎร์ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล เพื่อให้บริการกลุ่มคนไข้ทั่วไป ทั้งคนไข้ชาวลาว ชาวต่างประเทศที่ทำงานใน สปป.ลาว และนักท่องเที่ยว
บริษัท บางกอก เชน อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล (ลาว) จำกัด เป็นบริษัทร่วมทุนระหว่าง บริษัท บางกอก เชน ฮอสปิทอล จำกัด (มหาชน) จากประเทศไทย และนักธุรกิจท้องถิ่นใน สปป.ลาว ภายใต้การกำกับดูแลโดยกระทรวงสาธารณสุข ของ สปป.ลาว บริษัทดำเนินธุรกิจให้บริการทางการแพทย์ ภายใต้ชื่อโรงพยาบาลเกษมราษฎร์ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล เวียงจันทน์ ขนาด 254 เตียง 38 ห้องตรวจ โดยจะเปิดให้บริการในปี 2564
สำหรับธนาคารกสิกรไทย ปัจจุบันได้จดทะเบียนเป็นธนาคารท้องถิ่นในสปป.ลาว มีสาขา 2 แห่ง ได้แก่ สำนักงานใหญ่ ถนนล้านช้าง และสาขาบ้านโพนสีนวล ณ นครหลวงเวียงจันทน์ และมีโครงการที่จะขยายสาขาเพิ่มขึ้นอีกในอนาคต นอกจากนี้ธนาคารยังมีเครือข่ายการให้บริการในต่างประเทศในกลุ่มประเทศ AEC+3 มีสาขาจำนวน 7 แห่ง ได้แก่ สาขาเซินเจิ้น สาขาย่อยหลงกั่ง สาขาเฉิงตู สาขาฮ่องกง สาขาเซี่ยงไฮ้ สาขากรุงพนมเปญ และสาขาหมู่เกาะเคย์แมน รวมถึงสำนักงานผู้แทน 6 แห่ง ได้แก่ สำนักงานผู้แทนปักกิ่ง สำนักงานผู้แทนคุนหมิง สำนักงานผู้แทนย่างกุ้ง สำนักงานผู้แทนฮานอย สำนักงานผู้แทนโฮจิมินห์ และสำนักงานผู้แทนกรุงโตเกียว

KBank Lao PDR supports BCH for construction of Kasemrad International Hospital Vientiane
As part of its continual support to investment in Lao PDR, KASIKORNTHAI BANK LIMITED (Lao PDR) has offered financial facility to the Bangkok Chain Hospital Public Company Limited (BCH) for the construction of Kasemrad International Hospital Vientiane with 254 beds. For enhanced medical service quality to Lao and international patients in this country, the new hospital will be operational in 2021.
Mr. Pattanapong Tansomboon, Chairman of KASIKORNTHAI BANK LIMITED (Lao PDR), said that KBank aims to be a driving force for ASEAN economic growth, especially in Lao PDR which has seen fast economic growth and thriving industrial sectors, as evidenced by rising purchasing power of Lao people who are seeking quality goods and services. Importantly, healthcare business is one of the industries under the Lao government’s support as it aims to promote greater access to quality medical services on par with international standard in line with the country’s economic expansion.

The amount of such an investment is in line with economic growth, plus social and community development in Lao PDR. The company is committed to offering advanced medical services under the Kasemrad International Hospital brand to ensure that general patients, both local consumers and foreign nationals working and traveling in Lao PDR, receive quality medical services on a par with international standards.
Bangkok Chain International (Lao) Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Thailand’s Bangkok Chain Hospital PCL. and a company in Lao PDR under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, Lao PDR. The company engages in the medical service business under the name of Kasemrad International Hospital Vientiane, with 254 beds and 38 examination rooms. It is scheduled for opening in 2021.
Meanwhile, KBank (Lao PDR) has been registered as a locally incorporated institution, offering full-scale financial services with two branches, namely Lane Xang Head Office and Ban Ponesinuan Branch. KBank (Lao PDR) plans to expand branches in the future. Currently, KBank’s service networks overseas (plus those in AEC+3) include seven branches in Shenzhen, Longgang (Sub-Branch), Chengdu, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Phnom Penh and Cayman Islands, as well as six Representative Offices in Beijing, Kunming, Yangon, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Tokyo.
