KBank distributes two million red “Ang Pao” envelops for the 2019 Chinese New Year
In celebration of the Chinese Year of the Earth Pig, KBank is distributing red “Ang Pao” envelops depicting two auspicious pigs to our customers. In the Chinese culture, the pig represents abundance and symbolizes fertility, prosperity, wealth and lots of good luck.
Behind the two pigs on the envelop is the auspicious plant. According to Chinese myths, the plant’s extensive branches and flowers blooming into ancient Chinese coins are believed to bring prosperity and wealth. To express our appreciation to our customers for their patronage, a total of two million red “Ang Pao” envelops are being distributed to them at all KBank branches nationwide.
