องค์กรภาคอุตสาหกรรมนานาชาติ และบริษัทชั้นนำจากทั่วโลก พร้อมใจนำนวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยี เครื่องจักรใหม่ล่าสุดร่วมโชว์ ในงานโพรแพ็ค เอเชีย 2018 ด้านกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมและองค์ กรภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยออกโรงหนุนผู้ ประกอบการไทยใหญ่-เอสเอ็มอีเยี่ ยมชมงาน ชี้เป็นโอกาสอันดีที่จะได้รั บความรู้และมีโอกาสสร้างความสั มพันธ์กับผู้ประกอบการระดับโลก คาดการจัดงานปีนี้มีผู้เข้ ารวมชมงานมากกว่า 50,000 คน สร้างรายได้จากการเจรจาธุรกิจสู งทะลุ 32,000 ล้านบาท
นายสมชาย หาญหิรัญ รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงอุ ตสาหกรรม กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม กล่าวถึงการพัฒนาและการปรับตั วของผู้ประกอบการไทยในภาคอุ ตสาหกรรมว่า วันนี้อุตสาหกรรมของโลกกำลังเดิ นหน้าเข้าสู่การปฏิวัติอุ ตสาหกรรมใหม่อีกครั้ง โดยมีนวัตกรรม เทคโนโลยี การเชื่อมต่อด้วยดิจิตอล ระบบเน็ตเวิร์ค และ Internet of Things (IoT) เป็นปัจจัยและเป็นตัวเร่งสำคั ญที่ทำให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลง ซึ่งทางกระทรวงฯ ได้จัดทำยุทธศาสตร์เพื่อพัฒนาผู้ ประกอบการไทยก้าวทันกับการพั ฒนาอุตสาหกรรมโลก โดยการขับเคลื่อนนั้น จำเป็นต้องเน้นการใช้นวั ตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีจากการพัฒนาขึ้ นเองและจากต่างประเทศมาช่วย ทั้งในเรื่องของกระบวนการผลิต การควบคุมต้นทุน และ แก้ปัญหาการขาดแคลนแรงงาน พร้อมกันนั้นกระทรวงฯ ยังได้ขับเคลื่อนและสร้างระบบนิ เวศอุตสาหกรรม (Ecosystem) พร้อมตั้งเขตพัฒนาพิเศษภาคตะวั นออก หรือ อีอีซี ขึ้นเพื่อสนับสนุนการลงทุนในอุ ตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคต ซึ่งจะทำให้ภาคอุ ตสาหกรรมของไทยก้าวเข้าสู่อุ ตสาหกรรม 4.0 อย่างแท้จริง
โดยงานโพรแพ็ค เอเชีย ถือเป็นงานสำคัญมากสำหรับภูมิ ภาคเอเชีย เพราะเป็นงานแสดงสินค้าอุ ตสาหกรรมนานาชาติขนาดใหญ่ที่สุด และทุกครั้งของการจัดงานล้วนมี องค์ความรู้จากองค์กรอุ ตสาหกรรมและบริษัทชั้ นนำของโลกมาจัดแสดงมากมาย เป็นโอกาสอันดีของผู้ ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมทั้ งขนาดใหญ่ กลาง และ เอสเอ็มอี ที่จะได้สัมผัสและเรียนรู้นวั ตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีล่าสุดของโลก ซึ่งนอกนำมาจากจะปรับใช้กับธุ รกิจแล้ว ยังเป็นโอกาที่จะได้แลกเปลี่ ยนและสร้างความสัมพันธ์ทางธุรกิ จกับทั้งนักธุรกิจและนักลงทุ นจากทั่วโลกด้วย
ด้านนายจัสติน พาว ผู้จัดการทั่วไป บริษัท ยูบีเอ็ม เอเชีย (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด กล่าวถึงงานโพรแพ็ค เอเชีย 2018 ว่า การจัดงานครั้งนี้มีความน่ าสนใจในหลายส่วน เพื่อเป็นการตอกย้ำความเป็ นงานแสดงสินค้าอุตสาหกรรมด้ านการผลิตและบรรจุภัณฑ์ที่ใหญ่ ที่สุดของเอเชีย โดยแนวคิดในการจัดงานฯ ครั้งนี้เป็นเรื่องของ "นวัตกรรมเครื่องจักรอัตโนมัติ และระบบการจัดการยุคใหม่ (Innovative Automations & Solutions)" ซึ่งเป็นประเด็นสำคัญและกำลั งเกิดขึ้นกับอุ ตสาหกรรมของโลกในวันนี้
จากการเป็นงานอุตสาหกรรมสำคั ญระดับภูมิภาค ทำให้งานโพรแพ็ค เอเชีย เป็นที่สนใจจากองค์กรและบริษั ทชั้นนำ ซึ่งพร้อมใจกันนำนวั ตกรรมเทคโนโลยีเครื่องจักรที่ทั นสมัยล่าสุดมาร่วมจัดแสดง อาทิ นวัตกรรมหุ่นยนต์ การเชื่อมต่อเครื่องจักรและอุ ปกรณ์ทุกอย่างผ่านระบบ Network และเครือข่าย Internet หรือ IOT ระบบการทำงานร่วมกันระหว่างเครื่ องจักรหุ่นยนต์และมนุษย์ ระบบจำลองการผลิตภายในโรงงาน ฯลฯ รวมถึงการจัดแสดงเครื่องจักรอุ ตสาหกรรมในการผลิตตั้งแต่ต้นน้ำ -ปลายน้ำกว่า 5,000 เครื่องจักร จากผู้ผลิตเครื่องจั กรและระบบบริหารจัดการกว่า 1,600 ราย จาก 45 ประเทศ และ 18 พาวิลเลี่ยนใหญ่จากประเทศผู้ผลิ ตนวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีแห่งอนาคต 13 ประเทศ ทั้ง ออสเตรเลีย จีน เดนมาร์ก ฝรั่งเศส เยอรมนี อิตาลี ญี่ปุ่น เกาหลี สิงคโปร์ สเปน ไต้หวัน อังกฤษ และ สหรัฐอเมริกา
