มร.บัน คี มุน อดีตเลขาธิการองค์การสหประชาชาติ ได้ให้เกียรติร่วมงานแสดงปาฐกถาพิเศษเกี่ยวกับประสบการณ์การทำงานกับสหประชาชาติ และแนวทางในการผลักดันประเด็นความยั่งยืนให้เป็นวาระหลักของหน่วยงานภาครัฐและองค์กรต่างๆ ทั่วโลก ผลงานที่สำคัญของ มร. บัน คี มุน ในช่วงที่ดำรงตำแหน่งเลขาธิการสหประชาชาติ ได้แก่ ความตกลงปารีสเกี่ยวกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ (Paris Climate Agreement) และเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนของสหประชาชาติ (UN Sustainable Development Goals)
มร.บัน คี มุน กล่าวว่า “เศรษฐกิจโลกกำลังอยู่ในวิถีที่ส่งผลให้วิกฤตสภาพภูมิอากาศโลกเลวร้ายลง ตามรายงานสภาพอากาศของ UN IPCC ฉบับล่าสุด ได้ฉายภาพแห่งความโหดร้ายให้เห็นว่า วิกฤตนี้เป็นสิ่งที่เราหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ได้ ไม่เคยเกิดขึ้นมาก่อน และไม่สามารถย้อนกลับไปแก้ไขได้ ข้อตกลงปารีสถือเป็นความหวังที่ดีที่สุดของเราในการรับมือกับภัยคุกคามจากสภาพอากาศที่รุนแรง และสถาบันการเงินชั้นนำ อย่างลอมบาร์ด โอเดียร์ และทุกภาคส่วนของพันธมิตรทางธุรกิจในภูมิภาคนี้ต่างมีบทบาทสำคัญในการเข้าไปมีส่วนร่วมในการเร่งและผลักดันให้เกิดการดำเนินงานตามข้อตกลงดังกล่าวด้วยเช่นกัน”

Former UN Leader Ban Ki-moon As Keynote Speaker

Bloomberg’s Chief International Correspondent for South East Asia Haslinda Amin, led a fireside chat with Lombard Odier’s Senior Managing Partner Hubert Keller, who joined live from Geneva, to discuss the bank’s efforts in driving the net zero challenge towards a more sustainable future.
