KBTG ส่งมอบถังออกซิเจน เครื่องวัดและเครื่องผลิตออกซิเจน ในโครงการติดอาวุธให้หมอ ต่อลมหายใจให้ผู้ป่วยโควิด-19ให้แก่ 8 โรงพยาบาลและมูลนิธิ รวมมูลค่า 2 ล้านบาท เพื่อติดอาวุธให้บุคลากรทางการแพทย์ปฏิบัติงานได้เต็มความตั้งใจและช่วยต่อลมหายใจให้ผู้ป่วยโควิด-19
นายเรืองโรจน์ พูนผล ประธาน กสิกร บิซิเนส-เทคโนโลยี กรุ๊ป หรือ KBTG เปิดเผยว่า วิกฤตระบาดของโควิด-19 ในปัจจุบันทวีความรุนแรงขึ้น บุคลากรทางการแพทย์ผู้อยู่ด่านหน้าไม่เพียงต้องรับศึกหนักในการดูแลรักษาผู้ป่วย แต่ต้องเผชิญกับสภาวะอุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์ไม่เพียงพอต่อการใช้งาน ทำให้ไม่สามารถปฏิบัติงานได้อย่างที่ตั้งใจ ทั้งยังเสี่ยงต่อการติดเชื้อโควิด-19
KBTG พร้อมส่งกำลังใจให้กับทางทีมแพทย์ พยาบาล และบุคลากรหน้าด่านด้วยการระดมทุน 1,000,000 บาท ในโครงการติดอาวุธให้หมอ ต่อลมหายใจให้ผู้ป่วยโควิด-19 เพื่อนำไปจัดซื้อถังออกซิเจน เครื่องวัดและเครื่องผลิตออกซิเจน รวมทั้งอุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์อื่นๆ ที่จำเป็นต่อการดูแลรักษาผู้ป่วยโควิด-19 ให้แก่โรงพยาบาลที่ขาดแคลนสิ่งของดังกล่าว โดยทุกการบริจาค 1 บาท KBTG จะสมทบให้อีก 1 บาท รวมยอดบริจาคหลังหักค่าธรรมเนียมทั้งสิ้น 2,000,000 บาท
ทั้งนี้ KBTG ทำการระดมทุนได้สำเร็จตามเป้าหมายในเวลา 2 สัปดาห์ ตั้งแต่วันที่ 14-28 กรกฎาคม 2564 ผ่านทางเว็บไซต์เทใจดอทคอม ชุมชนการให้เพื่อคนไทย www.taejai.com และได้มอบถังออกซิเจน เครื่องวัดและเครื่องผลิตออกซิเจนให้ 8 โรงพยาบาลและมูลนิธิ ได้แก่ โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี โรงพยาบาลราชวิถี โรงพยาบาลเลิดสิน โรงพยาบาลธรรมศาสตร์ โรงพยาบาลศิริราช ปิยมหาราชการุณย์ โรงพยาบาลยะลา มูลนิธิกระจกเงา และเพจเราต้องรอด ซึ่งแต่ละแห่งจะได้รับชุดถังออกซิเจน 17 ชุด เครื่องวัดออกซิเจน 29 ชุด และเครื่องผลิตออกซิเจน 5 ชุด

KBTG delivers oxygen cylinders and other medical equipment to eight hospitals and foundations under the “Equip Doctors – Save COVID-19 Patients” campaign
KASIKORN Business-Technology Group (KBTG) has delivered oxygen cylinders, pulse oximeters and oxygen concentrators worth a total of 2 million Baht to eight hospitals and foundations, as part of the “Equip Doctors – Save COVID-19 Patients” campaign, in order to provide essential medical equipment and supplies to support health care personnel and to save the lives of critically ill COVID-19 patients.
Mr. Ruangroj Poonpol, KBTG Chairman, said that the current COVID-19 pandemic has become much worse, and there is a lack of frontline medical workers to cope with the rising number of patients. Due to a shortage of necessary medical equipment, they have found it more difficult to perform their intended tasks, while also experiencing increased risk of COVID-19 infection.
With this in mind, KBTG aims to offer moral and material support to doctors, nurses and frontline health workers by mobilizing 1 million Baht for the “Equip Doctors – Save COVID-19 Patients” campaign to purchase oxygen cylinders, pulse oximeters, oxygen concentrators and other medical equipment necessary for COVID-19 treatment. Such equipment has been given to hospitals in need. KBTG has contributed another 1 Baht for every 1 Baht donated. The donation after fee reduction totaled 2 million Baht.
KBTG successfully reached its fundraising target within two weeks, from July 14-28, 2021, via www.taejai.com – a Community of Giving for Thai people. The company delivered oxygen tanks, pulse oximeters and oxygen concentrators to eight hospitals and foundations, namely Ramathibodi Hospital, Lerdsin Hospital, Thammasat University Hospital, Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital, the Mirror Foundation and the “Rao Tong Rod” (“We Will Get Through This Together”) Facebook page. Each recipient was given 17 oxygen tanks, 29 pulse oximeters and five oxygen concentrators.
