มุ่งต่อยอดการลงทุน Securities และ Trading – เร่งการเติบโตด้านการลงทุนดิจิทัล - เตรียมพร้อมสร้างนวัตกรรมการลงทุนแห่งอนาคต
บริษัทหลักทรัพย์ ไทยพาณิชย์ จำกัด (SCBS) ประกาศแต่งตั้ง ดร.อารักษ์ สุธีวงศ์ ขึ้นดำรงตำแหน่งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารคนใหม่ รับภารกิจสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อน และสร้างการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนให้กับกลุ่มธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ มุ่งต่อยอดความแข็งแกร่งให้กับธุรกิจหลักของบล.ไทยพาณิชย์ด้าน Securities และTrading พร้อมเพิ่มขีดความสามารถด้านนวัตกรรม เพื่อเร่งการเติบโตด้านการลงทุนผ่านดิจิทัลแพลตฟอร์ม (Digital Investment) รวมถึงเตรียมความพร้อมในการสร้างนวัตกรรมการลงทุนแห่งอนาคตที่จะเข้ามาพลิกโฉมธุรกิจการเงินและธนาคารในอนาคต
ทั้งนี้ นอกจากการเข้ารับตำแหน่งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บล.ไทยพาณิชย์ แล้ว ดร.อารักษ์ยังคงดำรงตำแหน่งผู้จัดการใหญ่ ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ ควบคู่กับการดูแลบริษัท เอสซีบี เท็นเอกซ์ จำกัด (SCB 10X) ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทโฮลดิ้งคอมพานี ในเครือธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ ที่มุ่งเน้นด้านเทคโนโลยี นวัตกรรม และการลงทุนที่สามารถสร้างการเติบโตแบบก้าวกระโดด ในฐานะประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารอีกด้วย
บล.ไทยพาณิชย์ในปัจจุบันได้ให้บริการดิจิทัลแพลตฟอร์มการลงทุน อาทิ EASY INVEST ที่มีความพร้อม สามารถต่อยอดไปสู่การลงทุนในด้านอื่น ๆ ในอนาคตได้อีกมาก มีศักยภาพที่จะช่วยสร้างการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนให้กับกลุ่มธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ได้อย่างแข็งแกร่ง และเป็นแรงขับเคลื่อนสำคัญในการผลักดันการลงทุนในยุคดิจิทัลของกลุ่มธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ ที่มุ่งหวังจะช่วยสร้างความมั่นคงทางการเงิน และกระจายโอกาสในการเข้าถึงการลงทุนให้กับคนไทยได้อย่างทั่วถึง
ด้านการศึกษา ดร. อารักษ์ จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกด้านวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ จาก Stanford University, California ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ปริญญาโทและปริญญาตรีด้านวิศวกรรมศาสตร์จาก Carnegie Mellon University, Pennsylvania ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา
