รพ.สมิติเวชศรีราชา ในเครือ BDMS มุ่งเน้นนโยบาย ‘ป้องกันสุขภาพเชิงรุก’-มั่นใจพร้อมรองรับการฟื้นตัวของพื้นที่เศรษฐกิจพิเศษภาคตะวันออกของไทยตอกย้ำบทบาทผู้ริเริ่มบริการด้านสุขภาพตลอด 28 ปีที่ผ่านมาอย่างแข็งแกร่ง
นพ. อัษฎา ตียพันธ์ ผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลสมิติเวช ศรีราชา เปิดเผยว่า โรงพยาบาลสมิติเวช ศรีราชาก่อตั้งเมื่อปี 2536 และครบ 28 ปีในปีนี้ เป็นโรงพยาบาลแห่งแรกในภาคตะวันออกที่ได้รับมาตราฐานสากล JCI พร้อมเดินหน้าเพื่อให้บริการดูแลสุขภาพ ทั้งการรักษาและการป้องกันเชิงรุกก่อนที่จะเกิดโรค ด้วยใจและความเชี่ยวชาญของทีมบุคคลากรทางการแพทย์มากกว่า 1,000 คน พร้อมอุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์และเครือข่ายที่เข้มแข็งของโรงพยาบาลสมิติเวช เพื่อให้ผู้รับบริการ บริษัทประกันชีวิต และบริษัทคู่สัญญาได้รับความพึงพอใจสูงสุดภายใต้นโยบาย ‘เราไม่อยากให้ใครป่วย’ โดยจะดำเนินการอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อให้ผู้รับบริการทั้งชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติในพื้นที่จังหวัดชลบุรีและจังหวัดในภาคตะวันออกมีสุขภาพที่แข็งแรง ล่าสุดโรงพยาบาลฯ ได้จัดแคมเปญพิเศษ ‘28 ปี สมิติเวช ศรีราชา สุขภาพดี ไปด้วยกัน’ เพื่อเสริมสร้างให้ผู้รับบริการในพื้นที่ภาคตะวันออกสามารถเข้าถึงบริการด้านสุขภาพได้ง่ายยิ่งขึ้น ซึ่งได้รับการตอบรับเป็นอย่างดี ในช่วงเวลาที่เราทุกคนต่างตระหนักดีว่า สุขภาพ คือสิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุด
“ในช่วงที่ไทยต้องเผชิญกับวิกฤติโควิด-19 โรงพยาบาลฯ ได้ร่วมมือกับภาครัฐอย่างเต็มที่ด้วยการพัฒนาบริการ COVID Drive Thru เพื่อตรวจเชื้อโควิด-19 ให้กับประชาชนได้ทราบผลอย่างรวดเร็ว โดยแยกจุดตรวจออกจากอาคารโรงพยาบาล รวมถึงจัดตั้งคลินิกระบบทางเดินหายใจและหอผู้ป่วยระบบทางเดินหายใจเพื่อดูแลผู้ป่วย และเมื่อโรงพยาบาลฯ ได้รับการจัดสรรวัคซีนจากภาครัฐก็ได้ช่วยดำเนินการฉีดวัคซีนให้กับประชาชนไปแล้วกว่า 10,000 เข็ม นอกจากนี้ ยังพร้อมเป็นศูนย์กลางในการให้บริการฉีดวัคซีนทางเลือกร่วมกับราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์รวมถึงวัคซีนอื่นๆ ที่ได้รับการอนุมัติจาก อย. ด้วยเช่นกัน เพื่อเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการสร้างภูมิคุ้มกันหมู่ให้เกิดขึ้นในพื้นที่ภาคตะวันออกของไทย ที่ถือเป็นหนึ่งในเมืองหลักทางเศรษฐกิจทั้งด้านอุตสาหกรรม การส่งออกและการท่องเที่ยวอันเปรียบเสมือนเส้นเลือดหลักที่จะช่วยฟื้นคืนสภาพคล่องทางเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ ด้านการส่งเสริมสุขภาพที่แข็งแกร่งในชุมชนท้องถิ่นก็ถือเป็นภารกิจหลักของเราเช่นกัน โดยโรงพยาบาลฯ ได้ทำหน้าที่ในการดูแลสุขภาพของพระสงฆ์ในเขตอำเภอศรีราชาและจังหวัดชลบุรี โดยให้บริการฉีดวัคซีนไข้หวัดใหญ่และตรวจสุขภาพต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 2 แด่พระสงฆ์ 288 รูปอีกด้วย” นพ. อัษฎา ตียพันธ์ กล่าวเสริม
“สมิติเวช ศรีราชา เน้นนโยบายป้องกันสุขภาพเชิงรุกให้แก่ผู้คนในพื้นที่ รวมถึงผู้ประกอบการทั้งภาคอุตสาหกรรมและกลุ่มผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจท่องเที่ยวในชลบุรีและพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง ซึ่งถือเป็นพื้นที่เขตเศรษฐกิจพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (EEC)” นพ. อัษฎา กล่าวถึงความพร้อมด้านศักยภาพบริการ “รายได้จากการท่องเที่ยวถือเป็นหนึ่งในรายได้หลักของ GDP ประเทศ และชลบุรีถือได้ว่าเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่ได้รับความนิยมอย่างมากทั้งกลุ่มชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติ โดยในปี 2564 ชลบุรีได้ตั้งเป้าที่สู่การเป็น Sport City และได้ดำเนินการจนเกิดเป็นรูปธรรมและมีการจัดโปรแกรมการแข่งขันอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งระดับประเทศและระดับโลก ซึ่ง สมิติเวช ศรีราชา ก็ได้มีบทบาทสำคัญในการดูแลสุขภาพให้กับผู้เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันโปรแกรมสำคัญมาแล้วมากมาย”

As the first hospital in the eastern region of Thailand to be accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI), Samitivej Sriracha Hospital is committed to offering healthcare services on the basis of curative and preventive care through medical expertise of our team of more than 1,000 healthcare professionals, state-of-the-art medical equipment, and our strong hospital network to patients, insurance companies, and contracting companies as part of the policy “We wish everyone good health” which ensures their satisfaction. The hospital will continuously deliver services to promote good health for Thai and international patients residing in Chon Buri and other provinces in the eastern region.
