คนกสิกรไทยไม่หยุดทำความดี จัดกิจกรรม “ขวดวิเศษ” ภายใต้โครงการ “ทำทุกวันเป็นวันทำดีทำได้” ด้วยแนวคิดขยะเหลือศูนย์ แบ่งปันเวลางานเป็นเวลาจิตอาสา เชิญชวนพนักงานธนาคารกสิกรไทย บริษัทของธนาคารกสิกรไทย และ KBTG รวมถึงชุมชน วัด โรงเรียน บริเวณใกล้เคียง นำขวดพลาสติกที่ใช้แล้ว มาทำไม้กวาดพลาสติก จำนวน 3,000 อัน เพื่อมอบให้สำนักงานเขต รวมทั้งชุมชน วัด โรงเรียน คาดจะลดปริมาณขยะจากขวดพลาสติกประมาณ 135,000 ขวด
ดร.พิพัฒน์พงศ์ โปษยานนท์ กรรมการผู้จัดการ ธนาคารกสิกรไทย เปิดเผยว่า ธนาคารกสิกรไทยส่งเสริมให้พนักงานทำกิจกรรมจิตอาสาผ่านโครงการ “ทำทุกวันเป็นวันทำดีทำได้” ทั้งในและนอกเวลางาน โดยได้เริ่มดำเนินโครงการตั้งแต่ปี 2559 ร่วมทำกิจกรรมจิตอาสาสร้างประโยชน์ให้แก่เศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อม สอดคล้องแนวคิดทำดีเพื่อความยั่งยืนให้อยู่ในดีเอ็นเอของพนักงานกสิกรไทยทุกคน หรือ กรีน ดีเอ็นเอ (GREEN DNA) ผ่านทั้งกระบวนการดำเนินธุรกิจและกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ของธนาคาร
สำหรับปีนี้ ธนาคารกสิกรไทย ได้จัดทำกิจกรรม “ขวดวิเศษ” ภายใต้โครงการ “ทำทุกวันเป็นวันทำดีทำได้” ด้วยแนวคิดขยะเหลือศูนย์ ระหว่างวันที่ 1 ตุลาคมถึง 18 ธันวาคม 2563 เชิญชวนพนักงานธนาคารกสิกรไทย บริษัทของธนาคารกสิกรไทย และบริษัท กสิกร บิซิเนส-เทคโนโลยี กรุ๊ป รวมถึงชุมชน วัด โรงเรียน บริเวณใกล้เคียง นำขวดพลาสติกที่ใช้แล้ว มาทำไม้กวาดพลาสติก จำนวน 3,000 อัน เพื่อมอบให้สำนักงานเขต รวมถึงชุมชน วัด โรงเรียน ซึ่งคาดจะลดปริมาณขยะจากขวดพลาสติกประมาณ 135,000 ขวด
นอกจากนี้ ธนาคารยังส่งเสริมให้พนักงานธนาคารกสิกรไทย บริษัทของธนาคารกสิกรไทย และบริษัท กสิกร บิซิเนส-เทคโนโลยี กรุ๊ป สามารถลางานไปทำจิตอาสาในวันทำงานโดยไม่ถือเป็นวันลา 1 วันต่อปี ชวนครอบครัว เพื่อน หรือบุคคลที่รู้จักร่วมทำกิจกรรมจิตอาสาสร้างประโยชน์ให้แก่เศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อม ได้ทั้งแบบเดี่ยว และแบบกลุ่ม 10 คนขึ้นไป ซึ่งธนาคารจะให้การสนับสนุนงบประมาณในการดำเนินกิจกรรมโครงการกลุ่มละ 5,000 บาท ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม การทำเพื่อสังคมสาธารณประโยชน์ หรือเพื่อกลุ่มคนด้อยโอกาส เช่น การสอนการออม การสอนอาชีพแก่ผู้ด้อยโอกาส การช่วยเหลือผู้ได้รับผลกระทบจากไวรัสโควิด-19 บูรณะสถานศึกษา ส่งเสริมการแยกขยะ การรีไซเคิล รณรงค์เรื่อง CLIMATE CHANGE และการอนุรักษ์แหล่งน้ำ เพื่อร่วมกับชุมชนหรือหน่วยงานท้องถิ่นในการดำเนินกิจกรรมที่เป็นประโยชน์ได้ โดยจะต้องคำนึงถึงการป้องกันความเสี่ยงจากไวรัสโควิด-19 เช่น ต้องมีการรักษาระยะห่าง สวมใส่หน้ากากอนามัย มีเจลแอลกอฮอล์เตรียมให้ผู้ร่วมกิจกรรม นับเป็นการเปิดโอกาสให้พนักงานได้ใช้เวลาร่วมกับชุมชนที่อยู่ในละแวกที่พนักงานปฏิบัติงานอยู่ ได้เข้าใจความต้องการของชุมชน ในขณะเดียวกันทำให้เข้าใจปัญหา และหาแนวทางสร้างสรรค์กิจกรรมที่ช่วยให้ชุมชนเกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงไปในทางที่ดีขึ้น เพื่อสร้างความยั่งยืนร่วมกัน
ทั้งนี้ ธนาคาร ได้เริ่มดำเนินกิจกรรมจิตอาสาทำดี ทำได้ ตั้งแต่ปี 2559 มีโครงการที่เกิดขึ้นกว่า 1,000 โครงการ ซึ่งพนักงานสามารถติดตามความเคลื่อนไหวกิจกรรมผ่านเฟสบุ๊ก KBank GREEN DNA เพื่ออัพเดทข่าวสารข้อมูลการทำความดีระหว่างกัน และร่วมกันเผยแพร่ความดีสู่สาธารณะ อันเป็นการกระตุ้นและปลูกจิตสำนึกให้คนในสังคมร่วมกันทำความดี เพื่อความยั่งยืน และความสมดุลของเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อม

KBank hosts “Zero Waste Plastic Bottles” activity under the “Make Every Day the Day of Doing Good Deeds” program, creating brooms out of discarded plastic water bottles to reduce waste
Determined to do good deeds, KASIKORNBANK (KBank) organized the “Zero Waste Plastic Bottles” activity as part of the “Make Every Day the Day of Doing Good Deeds” program under the Zero Waste concept. Employees of KBank, K Companies and KBTG, including members of the general public in nearby communities, including temples and schools, were invited to join this volunteer activity to make brooms out of discarded plastic water bottles. A total of 3,000 plastic brooms will be delivered to district offices as well as nearby communities, temples and schools. The program aimed to reduce plastic waste by recycling around 135,000 bottles.
Dr. Pipatpong Poshyanonda, KBank President, said, “KBank has encouraged our employees to join volunteer activities under the ‘Make Every Day the Day of Doing Good Deeds’ program, both during and outside of working hours. Since volunteer activities under the “Tham Di Tham Dai” theme were introduced in 2016, KBank staff members have done their part for the benefit of the economy, society and environment, as part of the Green DNA resolution that guides us to pursue sustainable development in all our operations and activities.”
For 2020, KBank held the “Zero Waste Plastic Bottles” activity as part of the “Make Every Day the Day of Doing Good Deeds” program, based on the Zero Waste concept, from October 1 to December 18, 2020. Staff members of KBank, its wholly owned subsidiaries and KBTG, as well as residents in communities located near their offices, were invited to bring their empty plastic bottles to make a total of 3,000 brooms for district offices, communities, temples and schools. This activity is estimated to have recycled some 135,000 plastic bottles.
In addition, KBank has encouraged those staff members to take one day of leave per year, which is not counted as an absence from work, to engage in any volunteer activity. They may invite their family members, friends or associates to participate in volunteer activities for the benefit of the economy, society and environment. Such activities can be carried out by a staff member working alone or a group of 10 persons or more. KBank provides financial support worth 5,000 Baht per activity. They can participate in activities such as those involving environmental conservation, and those for public benefit or the underprivileged, such as teaching how to earn and save money, helping people impacted by COVID-19, refurbishing educational institutions, and promoting waste segregation, recycling, climate change awareness and water resources conservation. They may join CSR activities organized by local communities or agencies while also adopting protective measures against COVID-19 such as social distancing, use of surgical masks and provision of alcohol gel to participants.This activity offered staff members the opportunity to spend some time with the communities they live in, and get to know the needs of their residents. In doing so, they develop an understanding of the problems local people face, seek the appropriate guidelines and organize future activities that can help generate positive changes in the community for mutual sustainability.
KBank has promoted the volunteer activities under the Tham Di Tham Dai theme with the aim of doing good deeds since 2016, with more than 1,000 projects launched. Staff members can keep track of the flow of activities through the Facebook page, KBank GREEN DNA, where they can see the latest news and updates on doing good deeds together and returning the fruits of those undertakings to society. Such programs serve to stimulate and instill conscience among people in society, encouraging them to perform charitable acts that foster sustainability and stability for the economy, society and the environment as a whole.
