ตามที่ ธนาคาร ซีไอเอ็มบี ไทย ได้แจ้งตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย เรื่องการลาออกของกรรมการ และกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่และประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร โดยคณะกรรมการธนาคาร ซีไอเอ็มบี ไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) ในการประชุมพิเศษครั้งที่ 1/2563 เมื่อวันที่ 18 มิถุนายน 2563 รับทราบการลาออกของนายอดิศร เสริมชัยวงศ์ จากตำแหน่งกรรมการ และกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่และประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร ที่ตัดสินใจโดยผ่านการไตร่ตรองมาอย่างรอบคอบ เป็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงเพื่อไปทำงานในธุรกิจที่เหมาะสมกับประสบการณ์และเป็นความชอบส่วนตัว ทั้งนี้ การลาออกมีผลตั้งแต่วันที่ 15 กันยายน 2563 เป็นต้นไป
ที่ประชุมคณะกรรมการจึงมีมติแต่งตั้งผู้บริหารระดับสูงของธนาคารให้ดำรงตำแหน่ง รักษาการกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่และประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร เมื่อนายอดิศรฯ พ้นจากตำแหน่ง โดยขณะนี้การแต่งตั้งดังกล่าวอยู่ระหว่างกระบวนการพิจารณาโดยหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เมื่อได้รับความเห็นชอบแล้ว ธนาคารจะแจ้งให้ทราบต่อไป

CIMB THAI notifies the resignation of Director and President & CEO
CIMB THAI Bank has notified the Stock Exchange of Thailand of the resignation of its Director and President & CEO. At its special meeting no. 1/2020, held on 18 June 2020, CIMB THAI Bank Board of Directors acknowledged the resignation of Mr. Adisorn Sermchaiwong from his positions as Director and President & CEO whose decision has been made after thoughtful consideration that this is a career move to a business to which his experiences and personal preference can better contribute. The resignation will take effect from 15 September 2020 onwards.
The Board Meeting also resolved to appoint a member of the Bank’s Senior Management to serve as Acting President & CEO upon Khun Adison’s departure. The proposed appointment is currently undergoing relevant approval processes. Once relevant approvals are received, further information will be provided.
